Must have Work as a Piping Material Engineer under instructions from the Lead Piping Material Engineer for oil refinery projects, LNG plant projects, and/or gas processing plant projects:
- Check and review ITB documents
- Clarify ITB documents
- Prepare and issue piping material specifications
- Prepare and issue piping material requisitions
- Prepare and issue technical evaluation reports for piping material vendor’s proposals
- Check and review vendor documents for piping materials.
- Coordinate and/or negotiate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers
Desired Experience: The Piping Material Engineer shall have the following minimum experience and knowledge:
- 5 years or more of experience in piping material engineering in EPC firms
- Minimum 2 projects experience of piping material engineering in EPC firms
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, MSS, NACE, BS, ISO
- Good English communication skills
- Knowledge of standard international styles of business communication and experience in the preparation of business and technical documentation
